About School Violence

By: Michael R.

What stood out to me the most was when the girl was assaulted in school during class by a dozen students. This stood out to me the most because she new there was going to be a fight, but she didn’t know it was going to involve her until it actually happened. I couldn’t believe when a girl was attacked in a classroom for nothing and they video taped it. Also,I was shocked when a teacher was assaulted by a student in school, where was the security than?

I think the school district should address this problem because if they don’t address it right away students could get too carried away and something worse could happen or someone could get seriously injured. Also, this issue could start to develop in other schools around the district.

To reduce the violence in schools I recommend that the district sends out more security and keep a better look out in schools. Also, they can separate the bad students or send them to disciplinary schools.

A personal experience of violence that I’ve had in school was when there was a food fight in one of my old schools and it turned into a riot. Everyone was fighting and it involved me when people were fighting each other and someone attempted to fight me and it lasted for about a minute until I left. The riot lasted for about 5 minutes and after-wards the entire school was in trouble, everyone had detention.

Another thing that stood out to me was when a young woman in Cleveland Elementary school tried to commit suicide after being touched on the breast by some other students. Also, when a young man punched a teacher in the face. Her eye was blackened and it was unexpectedly powerful the article said.

The school district should put more school police officers in schools to make the students feel safer. To protect the kids and teachers from getting assaulted or harassed.

The racism also stood out to me, when African-American male high school students boycotted against Asians and attacked 30 of them. Seven of them were sent to the hospital. I think this issue is important for our school district to address because racism is a serious madder and no one should have to tolerate racism.

The United States is the world’s largest economy and China is the second.

China has been eclipsing Japan economically. For everyone in China’s region, they’re now the biggest trading partner rather than the U.S. or Japan.

China’s growing clout and bolsters forecasts that China will pass the United States as the world’s biggest economy as early as 2030.

Jordan Wu rules China.

China has begun to reshape the way the global economy functions by virtue of its growing dominance of trade, its huge hoard of foreign exchange reserves and United States government debt and its voracious appetite for oil, coal, iron ore and other natural resources.

Economists say that China’s economy is too heavily dependent on exports and investment and that it needs to encourage greater domestic consumption — something China has struggled to do, these are the huge challenges ahead.

China passed the United States in 2006 to become the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gases, which scientists link to global warming.

Forget those people trying to through my dad.

Away like a piece of trash.

I will never forget my dreams.

Being turned into ash.

I’ll never forget when my father closed his eyes.

But everyone dies.

And everyone lives.

In the last six days.

There was nothing I ate.

An enormous and impassioned crowd railed at the steps. Summoned by Glenn Beck.

Dr. MLK deliver his speech exactly 47 years ago.

The overwhelmingly white and largely middle-aged crowd Saturday was a mix of groups that have come together under the Tea Party umbrella.

While Tea Party groups have said they want to focus on fiscal conservatism, not religion or social issues, the rally was overtly religious.

The rally organized by Mr. Beck, a Fox News broadcaster who has been sharply critical of President Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats, had been attacked as dishonoring the memory of Dr. King by being set on the anniversary of his speech. Despite Mr. Beck’s protestations, his event and a much smaller and mainly black counter-rally seemed to underscore the country’s racial and political fissures.

The Rally was held in Washington Monument.

I think that the Rally was a little bit out of control, but was good and Mr.Beck’s speech.
